The ideal partner for your project
Yours truly. Smiling!
After spending my working life in sports television, and lacking the passion of my colleagues within that subject - despite interesting and varied work (everything from PA, graphics, video editing, 'When IT says it can't be done' tech wizard/coder) I, now something like a decade ago, started a professional transition towards something I'd been both interested in and reasonably skilled at since age 15 or so: software development.
After studying computer science, and having picked up very solid web design and backend chops over the years to supplement my old graphics experience, I originally built this website long ago from scratch as a learning-cum-demo environment. Then came the point where it started reflecting something real.
After stints at both a more traditional tech company, making a very custom next-gen multiplatform app as lead developer, and time in the startup scene, I these days have all the experience necessary to also further my own projects, products, and offered services, in a much more serious way.
Something smells fishy here. Sorry I mean burnt
Sometimes I'm busy working full-time for a client, other times I take it easier and focus more on my own stuff, especially related to music and stage lights. But also the website itself and the long-held goal of having most code as a re-usable library, so as to not just fork the entire codebase when building sites for others. The site really hasn't seen much love in years, and I'll be rewriting a lot of the code in a thoroughly well-architected way throughout 2025 and 2026.
Well let's see what else. I make music, write lyrics, have dabbled in being a rave promoter, soundboy, am a big enough ally to have hosted gay parties in Uganda, and all-around upstanding chap. I reckon. I like to do a bit of everything, and find there is good synergy in being decently skilled across many domains.

Finally having reached the level of running my own web design/custom music tech/stage lights company, rather than merely on an advanced hobbyist basis, I feel like I've landed right where I belong.
Gimme a shout if you're interested in working together on something or have an idea you want to see through. Everything from basic websites, more complex ones, apps, or large custom multi-technology projects is possible. I also work well in a team, and am good at jumping into even unfamiliar tech and large scary codebases quickly.
